Wahren Tropical Foil
Tropical Foil is manufactured by Wahren. This high-barrier laminate is specially designed for tropical blister packaging, providing superior protection for pharmaceutical products exposed to high temperature and humidity conditions.
Tropical Foil is typically used as an additional protective layer over conventional blister packs, creating a secondary barrier that safeguards the product against moisture, oxygen, light, and environmental contamination. The laminate structure generally consists of PET / Aluminium Foil / PE or other polymer layers, ensuring excellent mechanical strength, sealing performance, and durability.
This packaging solution is widely used for export-oriented pharmaceutical products, especially in regions with challenging climatic conditions.
Applications
Tropical Foil is primarily used in pharmaceutical blister packaging as a protective overwrap for blister packs containing tablets and capsules.
